About M.E.

Bio

As a Houston native, arts advocate, and creative producer, I have dedicated my career to amplifying BIPOC voices, fostering artistic expression, and creating spaces where storytelling, education, and community engagement intersect. I hold a B.F.A. in Performance from the University of Houston and an M.F.A. in Creative Producing from CalArts, and my journey has taken me from theater education and directing to independent producing, arts leadership, and sustainability-driven public art initiatives.

Fine Arts Forward

As the co-founder of Fine Arts Forward, I have worked to expand opportunities for artists and students, championing accessibility and equity in the arts. My experience teaching and directing theater in FBISD and Alief ISD fueled my passion for creating safe, transformative spaces for creative expression. Now, as an independent producer and strategist, I focus on developing innovative arts programs, leading community-driven projects, and securing funding for initiatives that uplift marginalized communities.

Pleasure Activism
